'Mussoorie is known as “The Queen of Hills”. It’s a hill station, which is situated in the Dehradun
district of Uttarakhand. It’s located at the average altitude of 1,880 meters
above from sea level. The high hill ranges of Mussoorie are fully covered by
lush green forests and are rich in varied flora and fauna. Another hill station
is located near Mussoorie which is known as Dhanaulti. In Dhanaulti, you can
also see the Himalayan peaks and much better snowfall than Mussoorie. So, It’s
one of the best locations to have an independent villa or cottage in Dhanaulti
for spending your weekends or summer/winter holiday session.

The city of Dehradun

Mukteshwar is also known
as the best tourist place and an untouched area. It is a wonderful place that
gives a complete 180-degree view of great majestic Himalayas. And, the best
thing is that it is completely pollution-free. The hill station got this name
because of 350 years old temple, Mukteshwar Dham who is home to Lord Shiva. The
place is also famous for vegetation and fruits like apples, oranges, plums,
peaches, and berries. The Himalayan view is also easily viewable only if you

Another name of Kausani
is ''Valna'' and it is one of the best tourist destinations in
Uttarakhand. At a time When Gandhiji
visited Kausani; he was getting so much impressed by the glorious beauty of
this place and said it as ''Switzerland of India''. The hill station is based
at an altitude of 1890 meters and blessed exquisiteness and alluring views of
the Himalayas.

7) Lansdowne
Lansdowne was also
known as the Britisher's hill station because it was the place where Britishers
resided before India's Independence. Lansdowne got its name from Lord
Lansdowne. The hill station is covered by thick oak and blue pine forests. The
lush green surrounding of Lansdowne is a perfect place for writers, poets,
loners, solitude seekers, and nature lovers. Lansdowne is the command and head
office of the famous Garhwal Rifles regiment of the Indian Army.
