 B)      Main Attraction of Haridwar.
Har Ki Pauri – It is one of the best attraction that can be visited in the land of legends Haridwar.
The early morning dip in the river Ganga .especially in the Sharvan in truly an enchanting spectacle.
This is the place the majestic river Ganga enters in the plains
Kumbh Mela and Ardha Kumleh mela are the major fairs organized in Har Ki pauri
Kumbh Mela – According to Hindu mythology few drops of Amrit accidently spilled over the pitcher (kumbha) in Haridwar .
This was being carried by bird Garuda vehicle of lord Vishnu.
To celebrate this divine incident people celebrate the grand kumb Mela in interval of 12 years
Bharat Mata Mandir – It is a temple dedicated to Bharat Mata by her devoted patriotic nationals in 1983,
this temple was inaugurated by Late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi.
Ganga Arti- the Aarti song sung by all devotees praises the river Ganga .They worship her as living goddess.
Small earthen diyas and flowers are floated in river water as offerings to her.
Shanti Kunj Haridwar – Shanti kunj is a world renowned ashram and the headquarters off all world Gayatri Pariwar located in Haridwar.
